“The bed mattress sucks! Very thin and hard, especially for older people. They do not clean the rooms everyday of your stay! Not what I expected from a Hilton Inn.”

“The Inn at Warner Hall is a fantastically restored piece of history. The inn is in great condition and beautifully done. The property grounds look great and includes a 1-mile walking path with river views. The friendly staff and great breakfast only add to a wonderful stay.”

“Interior of cabin was nice. Lost power 2x in 2 days, once was for 6hrs. 1 window A/C unit for entire cabin; rooms were hot. For 100 degrees days, 1 window a/c unit for a whole cabin is not even close to efficient or comfortable. We will not be getting a cabin again.”

“Cottage was so cozy a d very clean. We enjoyed the peaceful quiet area after a busy day visiting the area. Would definitely book again.”

“We were very grateful to the host for allowing us to bring our dogs to the property. We are selling our home and needed to vacate the house for showings. The house was adequate but nothing like what we usually rent for a vacation. The house is cluttered and the yard and front porch too. Additionally, it is a good 45 mins from Williamsburg so for out of town guests the description is not really accurate. It is a quiet rural spot with basic needs met and the host is very sweet. She has……

“We had a wonderful stay on the York River and would definitely recommend this house! It was clean, spacious, and exactly as described. The well-equipped kitchen, plenty of room to spread out, and three full bathrooms worked perfectly for our group of five adults. The fenced yard was also a huge bonus for our dog.We especially enjoyed the easy access to the river during the hot weather. The two kayaks, one canoe, and variety of life jackets made it easy to get out on the water, and the views from……

“Our stay was wonderful! Husband had a great time fishing :) Owners are quick to respond, very helpful and extremely kind. Thank you so much!!”

“The host and family were very nice and responded timely to any questions. The property and apartment is beautiful and relaxing. I would definitely recommend this for a stay.”

“The cottage was perfect for 2 for an anniversary get away. Convenient to Williamsburg/Jamestown/Yorktown without being congested. A number of restaurants in the area. Watching the sunset from the river dock was beautiful every night. Although we only ate breakfast there, the kitchen seemed to be equipped with most everything you need. Although we had no problem, the narrow steep stairs to the bedroom could be an issue for someone with mobility issues. Overall a very nice place to stay if……

“We loved the 1920’s feeling to the home. The cleanliness and quiet location were exactly what we were looking for. We were just a block from the historical center and took advantage of the shops and eateries. We would definitely stay here afain”

“So the parking was a bit hard to find because it was down a side alleyway. When we got inside, none of the beds had sheets on them and the linens in the dryer were still a bit damp. I texted the host but got no response. There was brown stains on the memory foam mat in the kitchen and spider webs in the bathroom that we had to clean. I later called the host because the WiFi password wasn’t listed in the welcome book as written in the Evolve email. You cannot access the bedroom TV at the same……

“I have to say that I was disappointed with the lack of cleanliness of the house. I realize that it is a very large house, but all the same, it should have been cleaned and maintained better for a short-term rental. The owner only supplied one old bath towel and one cheap new wash clothe per guest. No hand towels were initially provided. I contacted the owner and she had towel sent very quickly. The rugs did not look vacuumed, the bathroom rugs were dirty, the shower curtains were mildewed, and……

“What a spot! Fun to see the tide go in and out.”
